Embark with us on a short trekking around Annapurna mountain range. You are guaranteed to see fantastic Himalayan views, incredible diverse landscapes and fascinating local villages. All of our short treks are less than a week in length, with daily treks lasting between 5 and 6 hours. These routes are suitable for the elderly, children and beginners and maximum altitudes reached are 4000 m. There is the possibility for our treks to be modified for camping.

Following are the short trekking around Annapurna Regions

1. Ghorepani — Poonhill Trekking

Ranging between 3 to 9 days, the Ghorepani Poonhill trek reaches a maximum altitude of 3200 m and is therefore perfect for beginners. The route takes you past stunning waterfalls, dense forests and local villages. Highlights of this trek include two spectacular viewpoints, one is located on a forest ridge overlooking the surrounding mountains the second is at the end of your journey at the summit of Poon hill. This spot gives you panoramic views of the Himalayas, it is a truly special experience. The trek is suitable for people of all ages including the elderly and children. The trek can also be modified to be a camping route.

2. Mardi — Himal Trekking

For those wanting to experience the beauty of the Himalayas without the crowds of tourists? Then our Mardi Himal trek is the one for you. It is suitable for trekkers of all ages, ability and experience. Lasting between 4 and 8 days, the maximum altitude reached is 4500 m. This route is special as it not only gives trekkers fabulous mountain views and an immersive natural experience, it is relatively unexplored and less commercially developed meaning you can get up close and personal with nature. The route is serene and peaceful and is not crowded with tourists.

3. Mohare Danda Trekking

This trek is truly one of a kind. It aims to give back to the communities it passes through, by building a tourist industry but also promoting the sustainable use of the area’s natural resources. On this route you will get the opportunity to do homestays and spend some time with local families, which puts you in a unique position to fully immerse yourself in the local culture and communities. Not only will you have this incredible cultural experience, you will also get great mountain and natural views. This trek lasts between 4 and 8 days and the maximum altitude reached is 3700m. It is suitable for children and the elderly and for those with minimal trekking experience or skills.

4. Ghandruk — Landruk — Australian Camp Trekking

Lasting 2 to 4 days, the Ghandruk trek is an Annapurna favorite. Maximum altitude reached is 2200 m and is therefore an excellent option for beginners, the elderly and children. On this route you will venture through the region’s famous Rhododendron forests and observe stunning mountain vistas and incredible snow capped peaks of several amazing mountains, including Mt Fishtail and Annapurna South. Daily treks last around 5–6 hours a day and in that time you will hike through the diverse landscape including local Gurung villages and past gorgeous alpine lakes.

5. Royal trekking

This trek is named after Prince Charles, the Prince of Wales who walked this route in the 1980s. The trail passes through stunning scenery giving trekkers incredible views of the Annapurna mountain range, Machhapuchhre and the Pokhara valley. It weaves past rice terraces and through tiny local villages, giving you a glimpse into the lives of the people living in this area. The maximum altitude reached on this route is 2000 m and so minimal acclimatization is needed. The trek is wide and easygoing and is therefore suited to those of all skill levels, including the elderly, children and beginners. Daily trekking hours range between 5–6 hours a day.
